Convention on the Civilized Conduct of Chinese Citizens in Domestic Tourism

The Central Civilization Office and the National Tourism Administration promulgated the "Convention on Civilized Behaviors of Chinese Citizens in Domestic Tourism" on October 02, 2006, as follows: Creating a civilized and harmonious tourism environment is related to the vital interests of every tourist. It is our duty to be civilized tourists. Please abide by the following conventions: 1. Maintain environmental sanitation. No spitting and chewing gum, no littering, no smoking in non-smoking places. (2) Observance of public order. Don't make any noise, line up to observe order, don't block the road, don't talk loudly in public places. 3. Protect the ecological environment. Don't trample on the green space, don't pick flowers and trees and fruits, don't chase, shoot and feed animals indiscriminately. 4. Protection of cultural relics. Do not paint inscriptions on cultural relics and historic sites, do not climb to touch cultural relics, and take photos and videos to comply with regulations. 5, cherish public facilities. Do not deface room supplies, do not damage public facilities, do not take advantage of petty, save water and electricity, meals do not waste. 6. Respect the rights of others. Do not forcibly take photos with foreign guests, do not sneeze at others, do not occupy public facilities for a long time, respect the labor of service personnel, and respect the religious customs of all ethnic groups. 7, pay attention to courtesy to others.
