The spring is mild and the scenery is bright; all things are renewed. Strolling through the gardens of Jin Capital, one is greeted by pavilions reflected in emerald waters and branches adorned with blossoms—every corner brimming with the vibrant splendor of spring. As a vital showcase of Jin’s cultural heritage and a symbol of the city’s identity, every plant, every scene, and every element in Jin Garden embodies meticulous craftsmanship and dedicated preservation, while also embodying the cherished aspirations of both residents and visitors.

Now is the perfect time to enjoy the flowers.

Flowers are meant to be enjoyed, and civilization should accompany us. To ensure that this springtime beauty endures and to create a more pleasant and well-organized park environment, we hereby issue a call for civilized flower-viewing, inviting you to savor the garden’s vibrant blossoms with courteous conduct.

SPRING
Civilized Flower-Viewing Covenant

1. Do not climb or break the flower branches—let the beauty of spring endure. Keep your distance from the flowers—admire them with your eyes and capture their beauty with your camera. Do not touch them at will, break off branches, or shake the trees, so that the blossoms can grow naturally and their splendor endures.

2. Do not trample or step on green spaces; protect the vitality of plants and vegetation. Please take good care of the lawn, greenery, and floral landscapes within the park: do not enter or trample on the green spaces, lie down on the plants, or climb over barrier fences. Let us work together to protect the park’s ecological greenery.

3. Do not litter; keep the environment clean. Please consciously dispose of trash, fruit peels, packaging bags, and other waste in the designated bins; do not litter or leave behind any debris. Together, let’s keep the park clean, tidy, fresh, and beautiful for all to enjoy.

4. Do not carve or damage facilities; cherish public property. Strictly abide by the park’s regulations: do not carve, scribble, or damage garden structures, public facilities, or landscape features; refrain from taking unauthorized photos or climbing fences in restricted areas; and conscientiously uphold public order.

5. Speak softly, move slowly, and yield to others—let’s all enjoy a peaceful visit to the park. During flower-viewing, please line up in an orderly manner, refrain from pushing or shoving, avoid horseplay and loud talking, and keep a close eye on elderly visitors and children. Practice courteous behavior and ensure a safe visit. Parents are encouraged to lead by example, guiding their children to appreciate the flowers in a respectful and civilized way, so that a sense of care for plants and flowers takes root in the next generation.

6. Never forget fire safety—your park visit will be even more peaceful and secure. When visiting the park, please do not bring any sources of ignition or flammable and explosive materials into the premises; refrain from unauthorized open fires; do not litter cigarette butts; and do not smoke, barbecue, or engage in outdoor cooking in landscaped areas or other no-fire zones. Strictly prevent fire hazards to ensure the safety of yourself and others.

7. Jinyuan, Guyuan, and Jiangyuan are all fully open, free parks that encourage off-peak visits and eco-friendly park outings. The flowering period is brief—let’s enjoy the blossoms responsibly so that more people can share in the splendor of spring. If you encounter uncivilized behavior, offer a friendly reminder and join us in protecting these beautiful flowers.

8. All public flowers, plants, and landscape features within the park are protected. In the event of deliberate or malicious vandalism, Jinyuan will collaborate with the relevant authorities to take lawful and regulatory measures to jointly uphold a well-ordered park environment.

The most beautiful scenery is you—embodying civility. Appreciating flowers is about savoring their beauty, not possessing them; strolling through the gardens is about enjoying them, but even more so about safeguarding them. While the camera captures the blossoms in full bloom, civility captures the essence of refined conduct. When civility becomes second nature, the springtime in Jindu’s gardens will be all the more enchanting because of each and every one of you.
