To commemorate Chong’er’s successful restoration of the state and to highlight the golden age of Duke Wen of Jin, the Jinyuan Scenic Area was designed and built as an exquisitely crafted replica of architecture from the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods; it now serves as the Quwo County Art Museum.

The Jin Palace, also known as the Wu Palace. According to the “Annals of Jin” in the Records of the Grand Historian: “On the day of Renyin, Chong’er entered the Jin army; on the day of Bingwu, he entered Quwo; and on the day of Dingwei, he paid homage at the Wu Palace and ascended the throne as the ruler of Jin—thus becoming Duke Wen.” To commemorate Chong’er’s successful restoration of the state and to highlight the glorious era of Duke Wen of Jin, the Jin Garden scenic area has designed and constructed this exquisitely crafted imitation of architecture from the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods, which now serves as the Quwo County Art Museum.
